The documentary 'The Story of India' first segment talks about how "Some songs handed down generation to generation in Kerala cannot be noted down.
They are copied exactly over the generations using sophisticated techniques. These songs do NOT have words or language... the closest thing that resembles the Structure/Rules/Patterns of these songs are Bird Songs!! "
Note: This being a western documentary take with a pinch of salt. Still something to think about our Sanskriti which is fast vanishing.
