Marma Shastra - Ayurvedic Accupuncture

Articles:
Acupressure is based on Marma Shastra a component of Ayurveda. Especially known in Kerala. This is part of Kalaripayattu (kerala martial art form) and was exported from India to China (Shaolin temple) to make the unhealthy monks regain health for spiritual pursuits.

Articles on Marma Shastra/Accupressure points, Kalaripayattu masters who also heal as part of their martial arts training :

Practitioners:
I was always interested in learning Ayurvedic origins of Accupressure/puncture i.e. Marma Shastra. Since the authentic practisioners of this art are rare to find need to carefully check the antecedents and world-view of the person claimi
ng to be practising it (money-mindedness etc).

Found these links after doing a web search for many days.
There is a Kalari Chikitsa (Healing) Center in C.V. Rama Nagar, Bangalore.

Note : I have no personal interaction or reference for the person except the information provided about family lineage of this art on their website. Please check with people for more info.

Also there is a person (Ayurvedic Vaidya) who I'd heard of from my Aunt.
He lives in Koti or nearby I think. He doesn't ask any questions to you but reads all your health history from 'Nadi Pareekshana' i.e. Pulse Diagnosis. He then tells what your medical history says. Will try to get the name.
